Terms of Service

Last updated: 29 May 2026. These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between Zenyon s.r.o., a company incorporated in the Czech Republic ("Zenyon", "we", "us"), and the business or individual ("Host", "you") that registers for the GuestIdenty service at guestidenty.com ("Service").

1. The Service

GuestIdenty is a remote guest identity verification service for accommodation providers. Hosts share a check-in link with a guest; the guest captures a photo of an identity document and a selfie; an independent verification provider extracts the legally required fields (name, date of birth, nationality, document number, expiry) and returns a verification result to the Host. Document images and selfies are purged shortly after the result is delivered.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to enter into these Terms on behalf of your business. You are responsible for the accuracy of the registration information you provide, for the security of your account credentials, and for any activity carried out under your account.

3. Verification credits

The Service is paid for in credits. One credit covers one full guest verification (an attempt that is approved, manually reviewed, or otherwise reaches a final outcome other than an outright system rejection, which is refunded). Credits are sold in packs; prices are shown on the pricing page. Credits do not expire. Sales are final except where required by mandatory consumer protection law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• verify a person without a lawful basis under applicable data protection law;
• retain or further process guest documents beyond what the Service makes available to you;
• reverse-engineer, scrape, or impose unreasonable load on the Service;
• use the Service for credit, employment, or background-check decisions outside the accommodation context.

5. Data protection

For guest verification data the Host is the controller and Zenyon is the processor. The Data Processing Agreement at guestidenty.com/dpa forms part of these Terms. Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle Host account data.

6. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may add, remove, or modify features at any time. Material changes that reduce the functionality you rely on will be announced by email at least 30 days in advance where practicable.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access with notice for any breach of these Terms, for non-payment, or to comply with law. You may stop using the Service at any time. Unused credits are non-refundable on termination except where required by law.

8. Warranties and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Neither party limits liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. The courts of Prague have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules in the consumer's place of residence.
